WHAT IS MB4ME?
MissBoarder for Mother Earth is your online access point to organizations and activities that can help solve some of the problems facing our planet and it's people.
After getting involved with the B4BC donation drive, we realized that to only advocate for the environment wasn't enough, we needed to be more active in helping the planet in a complete sense. So MB4ME became a broader initiative to support environmental, humanitarian, and animal protection causes.
How we do our part... in addition to providing this site and working with, and/or otherwise supporting several of the organizations listed here, we have implemented several in-house conservation practices. For instance:
  • we replaced all 24 of our 65 watt incandescent light bulbs with 14 watt compact floursecents bulbs
  • we reuse and\or recycle all paper, plastic, steel, aluminum and cardboard materials
  • we shut down all office workstations & monitors each night
  • we use use water displacement techniques conserve water usage in the restrooms
  • we continuously stress to our vendors the importance of producing green products

  •    We are not perfect, no person or organization is. We realize that there are still areas we can become greener and more efficient in. However, in this case, it's better to start small than not to start at all...
